UPDATES:

24.02.2023 - Regarding travel grant - A travel grant of $1000 (<5000km) and $2000 (>5000km) per team is available for all the teams travelling to APEC. The grant can however be only used for undergraduate students. There is no need to separately apply for the grant. If the undergraduate members of your team travel to US for the semi-finals/workshop, you can claim the grant after the event with all the receipts.
In case of the finals in Hannover, there could be a possibility of additional travel support - concrete information about this will be shared once the teams for the finals are selected.

05.02.2023 - All selected teams are requested to confirm their participation in the IFEC APEC 2023 Workshop either in presence or online by 18.02.2023. Please let us know how many members of your team will be attending the workshop. The agenda of the workshop will be posted once all the teams confirm their participation.
Additionally, teams that had not presented any implementation plans in the first round, should send their plans by 18.02.2023 at the latest.

09.12.2022 - Regarding the semi-finals at APEC, it is expected that teams have at least some hardware development, if not the full prototype. A good prototype design plan and implementation timeline is very much appreciated. Attached here is the last year’s presentation from Leibniz University for IFEC 2022. It is not a template, just an example. IFEC22_Leibniz_University_Hannover

25.11.2022 - Qualification to the next round All the teams have been informed about the results of the qualification to the semi-finals of IFEC 2023. If your team has not received any email please contact us as soon as possible.

19.10.2022 - The  deadline for the proposals is November 13. It is the final and ultimate deadline. We would like inform the selected teams as soon as possible to make travel arrangements to APEC 2023 easier. There are some changes and additions made to the RFP and FAQ files, please make sure you are up-to-date with them.

10.10.2022 - An invitation email for the IFEC Q&A session at ECCE NA is sent to all the teams. The email is sent to the email address through which the Letter of Intent was sent. If you had sent a Letter of Intent and have not received our email that means we have not received your Letter of Intent. In that case, please contact us at IFEC2023@ial.uni-hannover.de.
